Getting Ready For Our Movers

• Be sure to check owner's manuals to see if there are instructions for moving larger appliances, pool tables, or office furniture.
• Always stack dishes upwards when packing.
• Donate, give away, or sell items to lighten the load on moving day -saving packing time and loading time during the move.
• Disassemble any bunk beds, headboards, or items that may take time for our movers to disassemble. Be sure to keep all nuts, bolts and hardware in a known location for easy reassembly.
• Mark all containers with the contents and location in your new home or office. You can lose a lot of time searching through boxes to figure out what they contain, and where they go in your new home.
• Try not to pack any items into a box without a top, these can easily get spilled during the move and items may get lost or damaged.
• Pack a clear "First Day Essentials" bin filled with the things you'll need most as soon as you arrive at your new home.
• Any boxes that contain liquids mark them as such and label with an up sign.
